Joining Process Overview:
- Complete the “Licensed Helping Professional Seeking to Join” contact form, check “Register Me”, and click the submit button.
- Within a few weekdays, you should receive a “Welcome to the Grove” email with your user-name and a temporary password. (If it takes longer than that, please check your spam folder and/or send a second a second request)
- Return to the Rooted Counselor Network site and login to your account.
- Change your password and add desired information to your profile, using the instructions below. Be sure to save your updates before logging out of your account.
- You will also receive an email invitation to join the Rooted-Counselor-Network Google-group ListServ. After you accept the invitation, please send out an introduction to the entire Rooted-Counselor-Network using the Google Group.
Your Directory Information:
The Members Resource section of the website is not accessible to non-members or the public at large, as it is intended for use by members in making referrals and contacting other members for professional consultation and resource sharing. For example, someone might ask you for suggestions of therapists with a Christian world view who have a particular specialization, license, or office location. You can refer to the directory, select several names with email addresses, and share these with the person making the request.
You will be able to enter the following information: Name, email address, primary license, organization name, zip code, and website URL, whether you are in-network for insurance, whether you are accepting external clients, a photo head-shot, and your specializations.
The fields for license and specializations are menu driven, which makes them consistent and searchable. If you don’t find your license or a particular specialization listed, please contact the RCN Development Team by replying to the Welcome to the Grove email invitation.
